Taxi operators questioned after e-hailing attack in KwaDabeka

KWADABEKA, KZN - Police are questioning 15 suspects after e-hailing drivers were attacked in KwaDabeka in Durban. 

Two drivers were injured on Wednesday after unknown men fired shots at them and their vehicles.

The attack has been linked to the on-going confrontations and violence between e-hailing drivers and taxi drivers.

The KZN Transport Department says taxi drivers are among those arrested. The department says it will be working with KZN Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, to restore calm and ensure stability in the area.
