JOHANNESBURG - Transnet CEO, Portia Derby and CFO Nonkululeko Dlamini are leaving the state-owned logistics company.
Dlamini who joined the company in 2020, submitted her resignation letter a month ago and leaves on Friday while the CEO Derby, who also joined Transnet three years ago is set to vacate her office at the end of October.
Derby who is the ex-wife of former Eskom CEO, Brain Molefefe, navigated the company through challenging times.

She came in just before the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by looting, the floods in Kwa-Zulu Natal, and the 2022 wage strike all of which had a significant impact on the SOE.
Through her tenure, she rose above those challenges, by driving the introduction of restorative governance measures and stabilising the company following years of State Capture.
