JOHANNESBURG - That is why he has heeded the call to campaign for the party that's facing a stiff challenge to its parliament majority. 

Sexwale has been on the campaign trail this week, canvassing for votes on the East Rand and in Soweto. 

He's dismissed the presence of rival political parties, even though he admits the ANC is in a fight for its survival.
