Buffalo City clamping down on illegal and expired goods

EAST LONDON - The Buffalo City Metro is clamping down on unscrupulous businesses.

Authorities in the city say the sale of illegal and expired goods continues unabated despite awareness programmes on health and safety regulations.

In February, more than 300 pupils were rushed to healthcare facilities for treatment for food poisoning. 

Several raids are expected across the metro.
