JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng High Court condemned a stepfather for what it called the systematic and sadistic torment of two children in its judgment on Monday.
The man who is now around 40 was sentenced to two life terms for murdering a two-year-old toddler and raping her older sister.
He was also given more terms for sexual assault, child abuse and attempted murder, but they will run concurrently.
The children’s mother has also been sentenced to 25 years for abusing them and abetting her husband.
The couple is from Klopperpark in Germiston.
