Crime in SA | Business booming for private security industry

JOHANNESBURG - The high crime rate has seen more and more people turn to private security for protection.

According to the industry regulatory body PSiRA, there are more than 2.7 million registered private security officers in South Africa.

PSiRA says the industry grew by 43% in the past decade.
