JOHANNESBURG - Is the country turning the tide in the fight against crime?
If recent police and private collaboration successes are anything to go by, it sure seems that way.
Over the past few months, tens of thousands of suspects have been arrested.
A number of them have been killed, drugs valued in the billions have been recovered and kidnapping victims have been rescued.
While the crime stats are still very high, these successes are being celebrated.
