JOHANNESBURG - The GNU relationship between the ANC and DA seems to be on the rocks again.

Last week the President axed a Deputy Minister from the DA, Andrew Whitfield, after he went on an international trip without the President’s permission.

The DA said it was because he did his job and pointed out that corruption implicated ministers were still in the cabinet.

On Tuesday morning the DA laid a criminal charge against Higher Education Minister, Nobuhle Nkabane, accusing her of lying to parliament about the panel that appointed SETA boards.

Can leadership take the GNU off another collision course.
