JOHANNESBURG - Hot 102.7 FM has received top honours at the New York Festivals Radio Awards.

The station won a Bronze award in the news documentary category and was a finalist in the human-interest feature category.

These achievements have solidified the station's reputation on the global stage.

According to Lloyd Madurai, managing director of Hot 102.7 FM, when the station first began out, its goal was to be the finest in the world.
