STEM Education | Soweto-born teacher gets international recognition

JOHANNESBURG - Parents are often yelling at teens to get off YouTube and study.

But, they may just be doing both, especially if they're watching Mlungisi Nkosi.

He's launched a channel to teach maths and science.

It's part of his mission to democratise STEM, or Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

That mission has earned him a global teaching award as an Educational Influencer.
