JOHANNESBURG - The signing of the National Health Insurance into law has split opinion. 

Medical aids and businesses say they're not opposed to universal healthcare. 

However, they contend that some provisions in the law need to go back to the consulting room. 

Medical professionals are at the coal-face of the implementation. 

Some workers say they'll leave the country if the legislation is not amended. 

Wits University Family Physician, Professor Shabir Moosa established an NHI pilot project in Soweto.
