Discussion | Reports suggest oil giant, Shell wants to leave SA

JOHANNESBURG - Disinvestment from South Africa is in the news. 

BHP is hoping to buy Anglo American and, while the offer has been rejected, it would have involved Anglo selling off it’s SA assets.

BNP Parabas is moving out of the county.

And now it’s being reported that petrochemical giant Shell is considering exiting South Africa and is having a dispute with its local investment partner Thebe Investments.
