JOHANNESBURG - The search continues for missing people after the devastating floods in the Eastern Cape left nearly 80 people dead.

SASSA has now pledged maximum support for the affected families. Western Cape Premier Alan Winde says they are also ready to assist.
According to SASSA Spokesperson Paseka Letsatsi, the majority of disaster casualties were SASSA beneficiaries, and they will support those impacted and provide grants to the families of the deceased.
