JOHANNESBURG - Talks between FlySafair and the union Solidarity remain tense, despite a new offer from the airline.
FlySafair submitted its latest proposal via email on Saturday morning, but pilots say it fails to address key concerns particularly around unpredictable schedules, insufficient rest, and a lack of family time.
While both sides are reportedly aligned on wage matters, pilots insist that without clear, binding commitments on rosters and work conditions, they cannot safely or sustainably return to work.
- Solidarity’s General Secretary, Gideon du Plessis, joins eNCA to unpack the latest developments.
