Global economy | Manufacturing data, exports slow down in China

BEIJING - China has not been spared from the global economic slowdown.

Manufacturing activity has been slowing down and annual exports have dropped for the first time in seven years. But, there was positive sentiment in the services sector in December.

Meanwhile, China’s Central Bank is vowing to provide more stimulus for the economy to grow.
