National minimum wage | Cosatu comments on proposed CPI increase

JOHANNESBURG - The National Minimum Wage Commission is recommending an above-inflation increase for next year.

8 of the 12 commissioners are pushing for an increase of CPI plus 3-percent.

Business says it should increase by CPI, while an independent panel is proposing CPI plus 1.75 percent.
