JOHANNESBURG - Putco is gearing up for the Easter weekend, as traffic volumes are set to soar around the weekend of 5 April.
But before the road trips and family reunions kick into high gear, safety is taking the front seat.
Thousands of ZCC pilgrims will also travel to Moria in Limpopo, with most using buses.
Putco's Lindokuhle Xulu said multiple cameras have been installed in its fleet to help ensure safety for all.
Last year, Transport Minister Barbara Creecy, delivered an encouraging road safety report.

In 2025, crashes were reduced from 209 in 2024 to 141, a 32.5% reduction.
All provinces decreased in crashes, except the EC and Mpumalanga, which recorded small increases.
