JOHANNESBURG - Severe downpours which triggered flooding have caused chaos and destruction in many parts of the country this week.
At least 10 people have died due to severe weather conditions in the country, seven in KwaZulu-Natal, two in the Eastern Cape and one in the North West.

Disaster teams are helping affected communities.
Head of the National Disaster Management Centre, Elias Sithole said, "We are able to capitalise to those resources but also bring in the fire services to assist in some of the areas."
