DURBAN - The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) is heading to court over the denial of healthcare to foreign nationals.
The commission is taking this legal action, to protect access to public healthcare, especially for undocumented patients targeted by groups like Operation Dudula and March and March.
The Commission says healthcare is a universal right for all, within South Africa's borders, regardless of nationality or documentation status.
