SA's electricity crisis | Eskom's planned rebranding slammed

JOHANNESBURG - Electricity Minister, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, is sharply refuting claims of stage 8 rolling blackouts.

Since power outages were ramped up to Stage 6, some residents have reported prolonged power cuts exceeding those set for Stage 6.

Meanwhile, Eskom says it will proceed with its tender for a new logo and corporate identity.

Last month, the DA slammed Eskom’s plans to re-brand the power utility’s logo labeling it a “completely unnecessary vanity project”.
