Some not satisfied with water service quality

JOHANNESBURG - While the majority of South Africans still consider tap water safe to drink, the confidence in water services is waning.

The latest water services barometer study, undertaken by the Water Research Commission, reveals that up to 50-percent of respondents treat municipal water by boiling or filtering it before consumption.
