JOHANNESBURG - The Agriculture Department has green lit a year-long deal with the US to allow a flexible trade response to bird flu outbreaks.
Under the agreement, restrictions will be applied state by state, depending on infection levels, cutting red tape and helping local importers keep chicken supplies safe and affordable.
