Nesquick discontinued in SA

JOHANNESBURG - Remember that drink mix for chocolate or strawberry-flavoured milk that you enjoyed in your childhood and even adulthood?

Well, those days are over as Nestle discontinues the product in South Africa.  

Nestlé Nesquik strawberry 500g, Nestlé Nesquik strawberry 250g, Nestlé Nesquik chocolate 500g and Nestlé Nesquik chocolate 250g will be no longer be produced in the country.

Nestle says that while it understands the disappointment, there's been a significant drop in sales for the products.

But it's not all bad news as Milo, Nestlé Hot Chocolate and Nestlé Cocoa will remain on the shelves.
