SA's Economic Trouble | Salaries sink in April

JOHANNESBURG - BankservAfrica's monthly index shows take-home pay has dipped below last year's levels.

The overall dismal economic environment has contributed to the average salary slipping further in April.

The number of salary payments has also fallen, signalling that jobs are being lost.

The Index shows that organisations will likely remain in 'survival model' for an extended period of time.
