Cold front hits Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng residents should prepare for below-freezing weather temperatures.

The South African Weather Service is warning of a significant drop in temperatures from Sunday night.

But there is a warning that higher stages of power cuts might be implemented.

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa said the cold front in Gauteng will lead to higher demand.
