DURBAN - The murder trial of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane is continuing at the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban, with one of the seven accused set to face trial separately from his co-accused.
The court has granted Siyanda Myeza a separate trial on counts 12 to 17.
The charges relate to a separate 2022 murder case in which the same firearm was allegedly used.

Myeza will therefore face those specific charges independently, while proceedings continue against the remaining accused in the case involving the deaths of Forbes and Motsoane.
Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed in Durban in February 2023.
All seven accused have pleaded not guilty to the murders.
