DURBAN - The murder trial of slain rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane resumes at the Durban High Court on Monday.
Three police officers testified last week about the firearm allegedly used in the murders, detailing how the weapon was discovered and recovered.
The defence is expected to cross-examine State witnesses as proceedings continue.
Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed in Durban in February 2023.

All six accused in the case have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
Meanwhile, Siyanda Myeza, one of the seven accused, has been granted a separate trial on counts 12 to 17.
The charges relate to a separate murder case from 2022 in which the same firearm was allegedly used.
Myeza will face those charges separately, while proceedings continue against the remaining accused in the case involving the deaths of Forbes and Motsoane.
