JOHANNESBURG - Major-General Feroz Khan is back before the High Court in Johannesburg in a renewed urgent bid to have his electronic devices returned.
Khan’s previous application was struck from the roll after it emerged that the devices had already been handed over to the Madlanga Commission.
In his latest court papers, the crime intelligence officer named the Commission and the President as respondents.

Khan is challenging the legality of the transfer and use of material, arguing that the Commission has acted beyond its powers.
He also argues that the dissemination of the seized devices should not have happened while the legality of the search and seizure is still being contested.
The matter is set down for hearing on 9 June.
