PRETORIA - Alleged underworld kingpin, Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala, says he regards Brown Mogotsi as a con artist and former police minister Bheki Cele as an extortionist.
Matlala was testifying at Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee that is investigating alleged corruption in SAPS.
The committee is currently sitting in Pretoria at the Kgoši Mampuru Correctional Centre, where he is currently awaiting trial.

Matlala has accused former police minister Bheki Cele of lying under oath during his testimony at the ad hoc committee.
He claims that he gave substantial amounts of money and says Cele kept asking for more.
Matlala said that he paid Cele half a million rand in two cash payments.
He concedes he gave Cele the money to deal with the police who were harassing him.
