2024 Elections | Date of first sitting of Parliament yet to be determined

JOHANNESBURG - IEC Chairperson, Mosotho Moepya, handed over the list of future MPs and members of provincial legislatures to Chief Justice Raymond Zondo in an official ceremony at the Constitutional Court on Thursday. 

This handover is in preparation for the first sitting of the National Assembly in about a fortnight. 

Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has described the handing over as a milestone for the country's democracy.
