EAST LONDON - After eight long months, all 10 of the accused in the University of Fort Hare murders finally know the verdicts of their bail hearings.
Seven men will spend Christmas behind bars, while three suspects have been granted bail.
However, a trial date is yet to be determined as the state wants to continue its probe into the alleged mastermind.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Ntuthu Sontlaba turned down bail applications for accused number one Bongani Peter and accused number three Wanini Khuza.
The accused will be back in court on 6 February.
