Discussion | Gaueng premier apologises to cancer patients for delays

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has apologised to cancer patients for the long delay in treatments.

This follows a court order ordering the Health Department to provide radiation services to 3,000 patients.

The province is appealing the ruling over concerns about care standards.

Many of them have been waiting years for treatment.
