JOHANNESBURG - The Constitutional Court has reserved judgment in a landmark case that could redefine how consent is treated in rape prosecutions.

The matter arises from a High Court ruling which found that an unreasonable belief in consent can no longer be used as a defence against sexual assault.
The Embrace Project is driving the case which has taken the fight for gender-based violence victims to the highest court to challenge sections of the Sexual Offences Act.
