IEC urges eligible South Africans to register online

JOHANNESBURG - The Independent Electoral Commission says it's satisfied with the turnout on its first voter registration weekend.

Over two million people visited registration stations across the country.

The voters' roll remains open until President Cyril Ramaphosa proclaims the date of elections.
