Parliament fire | Independent internal report to be released

CAPE TOWN - Parliament is releasing the report of an internal investigation into the January 2nd National Assembly fire.

Parliament Secretary, Xolile George, will outline the findings and recommendations.

The Hawks have been looking into the circumstances around the blaze.

It took three days and over 300 firefighters to extinguish the fire.

Arson-accused Zandile Mafe has been declared a state patient after he was found unfit to stand trial.
