Public sector strike | SAMA slams intimidation of patients
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Medical Association (SAMA) has thrown its weight behind the Nehawu strike.
But it says it's against the compromising of patients’ health care and intimidation of patients and staff.

The health body's chairperson, Dr Mvuyisi Mzukwa, is also of the view that more than four patients have died as an indirect consequence of the strike.
"We believe that there are more than four patients who have died because of the impact of the strike," he said.
"If you continue like this means more patients are going to die."
