Rustenburg mass shooting | Community Safety MEC to visit victims’ families

RUSTENBURG - North West Community Safety MEC Sello Lehari is visiting the families of nine people killed in a mass shooting.

They were gunned down at the Popo Molefe informal settlement in Boitekong.

Five men and four women were shot dead in the attack on Saturday night that also left eight people injured.

A special task force has been set up to probe the murders.

The motive for the shooting is unknown, and no arrests have yet been made.
