JOHANNESBURG - Only three grant payment months remain before SASSA Gold Cards will stop working.
The deadline for South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) gold cards to be replaced with the new Postbank Black Cards is 31 August.
Failure to do so will see existing gold cards no longer functional after the deadline.

In a statement on Thursday, Postbank spokesperson Bongani Diako warned beneficiaries not to wait until the last minute.
This, as he said, causes delays and long queues may occur closer to the deadline date.

Diako reiterated that the deadline for the card replacement would not be extended.
