WATCH | Motara: I didn't dissolve the gambling board

JOHANNESBIRG - The Gauteng Economic Development MEC refutes claims that the board of the province's Gambling Board has been dissolved.

MEC Tasneem Motara says the board could no longer be legally constituted after six members resigned.

"I take serious exception to such allegations and the gambling board," says Motara.

"I didn't dissolve, but I had about six resignations, which meant that the board was no longer properly constituted," she adds.

Motara says that the rest of the board could no longer legally be constituted and could no longer exist.
