A man who plotted to assassinate President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course in September 2024, two months before the US election, was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison.

Police watchdog Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has forwarded the completed investigation docket related to Emmanuel Mbhense's death, to the National Director of Public Prosecutions.
