An 18-year-old has been arrested, following an attack on three Democratic Alliance Members of Parliament.

The Mdantsane community has warned the Eastern Cape Education Department not to ignore the bullying of an 18-year-old pupil.

At least six Grade 12 boys from West Ridge High School have been identified as being part of the attacking group and will be served suspension letters.

Residents marched on the Kariega town hall, submitting a memorandum of demands to the district police commissioner.
