IDAC senior investigator Mantsha Raphesu says MP Fadiel Adams attributed a message about the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team to KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

Calls are mounting to disband the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), following Madlanga Commission testimony that detailed alleged wrongdoing by senior members of the unit.

Ramaphosa says he cannot respond to every person who appears before the commission, as testimonies are still ongoing and must be considered in full before any conclusions are drawn.

Member of Parliament (MP) Fadiel Adams is expected to appear at the Madlanga Commission on 11 August.
