JOHANNESBURG - The country and its leaders are responding to explosive claims by Kwazulu-Natal commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi made over the weekend that the National Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, and his deputy are protecting criminals.
Parliament has announced that three committees in the national assembly will prove the claims including the police, justice and intelligence committees.
The Police Minister Mchunu has reiterated that he’s not a known association of Oupa Brown Mogotsi and Vusi Cat Matlala.
Kwazulu Natal Premier, Thami Ntuli, meanwhile is supporting Kwazulu Natal Police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi who made the claims – saying he has principles and integrity.
