Bafana coach Hugo Broos denies Tunisia connection

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Football Association is dismissing reports linking Bafana coach Hugo Broos to Tunisia.

Tunisian media houses took to social media to reveal Broos will be announced as Tunisia head coach.

According to reports, the Belgian who led South Africa to a bronze medal at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, will take charge of Bafana for the last time on Tuesday night.

However, Broos reiterated and committed his future to Bafana on Monday.

The 71-year-old said he is preparing the side for crucial World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe in June.

Bafana face Algeria in a Fifa Series fixture in Algiers at 11pm.
