Discussion | eThekwini Strike | 2 week protest halted services affecting ratepayers

JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance in eThekwini is calling on the municipality to compensate ratepayers who were impacted by the Municipal Workers Union strike.

SAMWU employees started a two-week-long protest on February 26.

Services were disrupted as a result.

The municipality has been given two months by the DA to pay back the ratepayers.
