Karpowership secures second environmental authorisation

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's decision to look abroad for solutions to the energy crisis could soon pay off.

Turkish company, Karpowership recently secured its second environmental authorisation, this time in Saldanha Bay.

Karpowership will be able to add about 320 MegaWatts from Saldanha Bay alone.

However, the docking of these ships faced some opposition from several stakeholders.
