JOHANNESBURG - From high-profile extraditions in the murders of rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane, to suspensions and Senzo Mchunu being relieved of party duties and Gauteng Premier surviving a motion of no confidence.
These are the stories that made headlines this week.
WHO ORDERED THE HIT ON AKA
The Ndimande brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi finally arrived in South Africa after being extradited from Eswatini.
The pair will stand trial for the murders of rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane.
But as the country witnessed their return, the late musician’s father says he still has one burning question: Who commissioned the hit on his son?
AKA’s father, Tony Forbes, says the moment has been a long time coming, but the fight for answers is far from over.
NO RISKS TAKEN IN NDIMANDE BROTHERS EXTRADITION
The Ndimande brothers arrived at King Shaka International Airport in Durban under heavy police guard.
KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said this level of security was necessary, given the high-profile nature of the case.
As they have now been taken to a correctional facility, Mkhwanazi said he hopes and trusts that the facility will be able to protect them until they return to court again. And until their case is finalised and the outcome is known.
The brothers made their first court appearance in Durban. The State wants them to stand trial alongside five other accused. The case has been postponed to the 25th of November.

This is on the back of his appearance at the Ad Hoc Committee investigating corruption claims made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkwanazi.
Mchunu has also been placed on special leave as police minister.
Mkhwanazi has accused Mchunu of corrupt activities.
