Glebelands Eight | Families of victims react to sentencing

DURBAN - Families and survivors of the Glebelands Hostel violence say they fear the violence may erupt again.

The families were reacting to the judgment handed to the hitmen on Thursday in the High Court in Pietermaritzburg.

Six of the Glebelands eight were handed life sentences but the mastermind of the attacks, former police officer Bhekukwazi Mdweshu, only got 10 years. 

The families say they are not happy with the judgment handed to the hitmen on Thursday.
