SA's corruption emergency | eThekwini probe nearing completion

DURBAN - eThekwini's report on allegations of overspending on a multi-million rand street-light contract is expected to be released in two weeks.

The city has promised it will deal with those implicated.

It's alleged eThekwini Municipality paid R579-million in a matter of months to several companies to fix street lights when it could have paid much less.

The report is almost concluded and will shed some light on these issues.
