JOHANNESBURG - Contract nurses in Gauteng want full-time jobs and they say the provincial Health Department is exploiting them.

Hundreds of nurses, some of who were employed during the Covid-19 pandemic say they are battling to make ends meet after their contracts were terminated.

The Health and Allied Workers Indaba Trade Union marched to Gauteng government offices to hand over memorandums on Monday.
